Meet Oluwafemi! Our Digital Communications and Marketing Lead.
Last month we commenced our staff spotlight series to ensure our increasing community gets to know the faces behind Trav4College and how we are poised to solve key issues around the College Travel Market.
We had a sit-down session with Oluwafemi Anthony (who loves to be addressed as Dr. Oluwafemi) to get more insights into his personality, interests, and work-life.
Q: TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
A: My name is Oluwafemi Anthony. I’m your favorite digital doctor. I came into the digital space as a blogger for Lazywrita.com and over the years, I evolved fully into Digital Communications & Marketing. Like you all know, I am a workaholic… I just love working and that’s a brief intro about me.
Q: WHAT’S YOUR ROLE AT TRAV4COLLEGE?
A: I’m the Digital Communications & Marketing Team Lead. My responsibility is centered around managing all the activities carried out by the Digital Marketing Team, analyze Marketing Trends and Performance, use Digital Data to help us make better decisions as organization and in recent weeks, I’ve joined the designers & developers in creating and managing the new Trav4College product.
Q: WHY DID YOU JOIN US AT TRAV4COLLEGE?
A: I’ve always wanted to be in the Tech Space. Trav4College allowed me to be a part of this project not just to work but to contribute positively and make my mark in the digital space. The most interesting part is how we plan to evolve beyond an organization simplifying college applications and become an Educational Software Company.
Q: WHAT DO YOU FIND MOST INTERESTING WORKING WITH TRAV4COLLEGE?
A: My Team. I find every member of my team fascinating. The fact that the majority are fun, yet they are goal-driven and amazing. I’ve seen Bayo want to be a better person. I’ve seen Chuks put in the effort to know things he doesn’t know in the last couple of months and their growth is amazing. I wouldn’t have asked for a better team. Their enthusiasm is great.
Q: WHAT ARE YOUR INTERESTS?
A: Music, Football, and Work. Social gathering is almost a NO for me. You hardly find me going to public places. Movies are 70–80% a NO for me. I can be predictable with what interests me because I don’t get involved in many things.
Q: WHY DO YOU LOVE TO BE ADDRESSED AS A DR. OLUWAFEMI?
A: (lol) My job and goal is to help brands thrive in the digital space so I am saving brands. I’m your favorite doctor anyway (lol)
Q: ARE YOU IN A RELATIONSHIP AND WHEN ARE YOU GETTING MARRIED?
A: (lol) Marriage??? Not yet time but we will see (lol)
